Remedy

We stood at the feet of war

Surveying the plains of time

Seeing death; the decay of mankind

Stench of rotten souls

Hearing screams of forgiveness

And the heart of darkness survives.

Until we look evil in the face

Defacing its power, greed and control

We will forever be a mirror to evils death wish

Genocide and infanticide

Its never-ending lust for flesh.

Caught in materalisms handcuffs

We sell ourselves to the cheapest vendor

All the while our blood trickling to the ground

Lifeless greed draining into oblivions well.

Remedy ….

Walk the earth barefoot

Drink running mountain water

Lay your head to the north

Sleep dreams of kindness

Sit with children

Learn their ways

Toes in sand.

Gratitude your gateway to god

Source your saviour

Inner realms reveal all

As outer is relinquished dissolving into nothingness

Surrendering ego to crashing, crushing waves of lie after lie, after lie.

Behold your majesty

Cloaked in royalty

Grounded in compassion

Your swords and wands of dragons

Assailing enemies with loving kindness of I AM

You are, We Are, All Are

  1. I loved this poem too Kaila – and the ‘advice’ in how we return to who we are is both priceless and so – simple; as all true ‘remedies’ are. Thank you for reminding me!

Thank you dear Kaila and have a wonderful New Year.
