Hello Kaila and thank you for this beautiful poem. It’s almost like an extended ‘Haiku’, full of short yet powerful light-sound images. I especially love the phrases, ‘traversing your bloodsong’ and ‘Ensoleing the barefooted’ and, of course, the subject is so pivotal to our times – and to us today.
